There’s a homey smell, and it’s making me feel awake, touched, motivated. A bit like the salt of the sea, an aroma which is hard to miss, close to the heart, and even more difficult to live without. Although it smells like home, there’s a call-to-action about it, making life full of purpose and calling for the recognition of a beautiful, new day.

 

Following its scent, and always drawing me nearer, I see the dark, blazed beans. Some are lighter, more crisp, and if you look closely you’ll see that none of them are the same. The beans lie together, like a loving family snuggled together for warmth and support – promising hope, and the taste of what’s good, kind and heated.

We’re up early to select, grind, and perfect a taste of liquid energy. A unique taste infused with international fire dancers, picturesque, fully fledged clouds and only the biggest bear hugs. Our works create an awakening smell which hovers not far above the salt of the sea – drawing our customers in, sooner than what they’d expect. The people we live for. The passionate, knowing lovers who dream about their morning cup before they’ve even fallen asleep.

 

Butterfly eyelids lift as the heart craves a double shot in the purest form, marking the base of what is to come. Topped with the best, locally sourced full cream, or low fat milk – it’s a most frothy affair. Once the nectar passes the lips, they are left parted, satisfied, full and ripe. Glowing. Substance moves through the body, aching to touch every vein for the joy in what that touch creates – smiles, happiness and radiance in all that marks face and soul.

 

At the end of the day, that’s what it’s about. The love. The people. The friendship. The ‘feel good’ factor that all of this brings. Recognition. Hope. Creativity. Passion.
